True, you can not take your fish on the road with you or cozy up to them on the couch, but tropical pet fish do have individual personalities and very distinct character traits that are shown in the ways they act around other fish. If you are willing to take a little time and watch your pet fish you are sure to get to know them and find them equally endearing as other animals. If keeping tropical pet fish is a new interest for you, or even if you already have an aquarium at your house, here are some tips to keep your pets happy and well.

It's important you do not upset the fish in your tank by adding too many fish. We are not always able to have a huge aquarium in our homes and owning a smaller tank means the number of fish and the varieties of fish you choose must be limited in order to fit the tank. If the aquarium is overcrowded with too many tropical pet fish they will not have the room they need to swim freely and they may have problems with other fish due to the crowded conditions. They may feel territorial and nip or even attack some of the other fish. In other words, overcrowding your tank is not going to give you happy and healthy tropical pet fish.

You should make sure to gain some knowledge about different species of tropical pet fish because some varieties are aggressive while some are very peaceful. Aggressive fish will often fight with one another, and they will pick on and nip at the more peaceful fish, who may get seriously injured. It does not take long to learn about some of the different species of fish and you can find the information you need on the internet or by asking around at your local pet store. Most fish can live quite peacefully with other fish, but there are a few that will bully the other fish so you should be careful of them, just as you would be careful with some breeds of dogs. With a little bit of research you can be sure to make the right choices when it comes to your fish.

It is important that you do not over-clean your aquarium, even cleaning your tank on a regular basis is a must, just like feeding your tropical pet fish to the proper amount and not over-feeding them which is the best way to keep them at their happiest and healthiest. Making mistakes in the areas of feeding and cleaning is not healthy for your fish, so you want to make sure you do not do either of these too often or too little. It may be the most common error made by tropical pet fish owners to give them too much food and not clean their habitat often enough, when cleaning the tank chemicals and vascular scrubbing methods should never be used.

For many private investigators, working out is not a priority. Many PIs pride themselves on taking professional development courses and staying up to date on the latest training in the field. But many PIs fail to heed even the basic physical fitness tips and advice that for most health-conscious individuals have become second nature. Staying fit is the most important and easiest self-improvement one can make.

Remember, first impressions are lasting ones. If a private investigator walks into an appointment looking sloppy or out of shape-with his belly popping out of his pants-it could negatively impact you with the potential client and sometimes even ruin any chance at landing his or her business.

Every private investigator should look at himself in the mirror and ask if he's happy with the way he looks-and ask himself what he's looking for. Be truthful-there is nothing to gain and a lot to lose by pulling pitches with self-analysis.

A common excuse for obesity and general unhealthiness is, "I do not have time to work out." Well, guess what? Obesity and other health problems have plenty of time for you. Taking to heart even the most basic physical fitness tips will not only improve a private investigator's business but also its quality of life.

Some advice for the PI hoping to lose weight: Drink one gallon of water daily. Eat every three hours for a total of six small meals (try to eat 1.5 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass). Exercise daily for at least 45 minutes. It's also important to sleep eight hours every night. Sleep is the body's recharging mechanism, and it's impossible to lose body fat without sleeping. Those interested in weight training should consult with a doctor before beginning any program.

Teenagers (12-18 years)- 10 Hours

Your bed isn’t just for sleeping, though, it’s also for resting. Experts indicate that a healthy balance between quantity and quality of sleep (combined with a healthy lifestyle) help to ensure optimal health throughout life. There are many factors that play a role in the quality of sleep you get each night and things that you can do to ensure that you get the best quality sleep possible each night.

-Maintain a sleep schedule.

-Wake at the same time each morning.

-Establish a bedtime routine.

-Minimize light and sound in the bedroom.
